Ideal for quick spin downs and micro filtration. Each unit is supplied with a 6 x 1.5/2.0 ml rotor and adapters for 0.5 and 0.4 ml tubes as well as a rotor that will hold 2 x 0.2 ml strip tubes, such as those used for thermal cycling. Maximum speed for the mini centrifuge is 6000 rpm, corresponding to 2000 x g in the six place rotor. Each unit has an on/off switch allowing the user to stop the motion of the rotor before opening the centrifuge lid. A new lid hinge design incorporates a stainless steel pin for durability. The small footprint allows the Spectrafuge Mini Centrifuge to fit on even the most crowded bench, making it a truly personal unit.
